It’s an understandable question given the huge choice of blinds and other window coverings on the market. And also relevant given it can get very warm here on the Sunshine Coast in Summer so the choice of blinds often needs to be practical as well as aesthetic.
For example, do your blinds need to block out the light to enable your child to sleep better, or do you want to ensure privacy in the living areas at night-time? Do you want the option of motorised blinds? Do you need indoor blinds plus window coverings for the exterior of your home?

Panel Glide Blinds Sunshine Coast
Ideally suited for doors or large windows, or to divide a space within your home, Panel blinds come with a sleek tracking system and any number of panels. An extensive fabric range is available for panel blinds including block-out, light-filtering, plain and textured finishes.
Vertical Blinds Sunshine Coast
Vertical blinds are the most versatile and functional window furnishings for your home. They can be easily drawn neatly to the side of your doors or windows letting in maximum light. Plus, they can be split or rotated by 180 degrees to enable varying light control and privacy.
These blinds can be manufactured to specification in a variety of different fabrics and textures including jacquard weaves, suedes and are also available in blockout, translucent and fire-retardant finishes.
Roller Blinds Sunshine Coast
Roller blinds are perfect for complementing any type of window and help add an elegant but minimalist appearance. Roller blinds can be manufactured in specialist sunscreen fabrics to minimise glare, and also to help protect carpets from the harsh summer sun. Other fabrics can complement the existing décor within the home.
The Dual Bracket system offers two blinds – one which provides light & glare control for daytime use and the second which utilises a block-out fabric for privacy after dark and complete darkness in a room.
Our blinds can be spring or chain operated, or fully motorised with the blinds operated by a simple touch of a button to lift or lower them. Our motorised Roller Blinds will raise and lower automatically with minimal noise disruption using either a remote control, wall switch control, or an app on your phone.
Venetian Blinds Sunshine Coast
Venetians are a classic window blind style with horizontal slats that allow you to adjust light or privacy levels by a simple turn of a wand to angle the slats and reveal or obscure the world outside. North Coast Blinds & Security manufacture Venetians in timber, aluminium or PVC finishes, with a choice of slat widths and a wide range of colours to choose from.
While PVC adds a crisp modern look, aluminium is for a more contemporary style and timber provides a natural warm feel to a home.
